I wanna be...
... a soul sufer. After recently watching the movie, Im hooked on surfing. I mean who wouyldnt wanna live in hawaii, be tan, have it be warm all the time, and be out on the water every day catching amazing forces of nature, waves. I am positive it would take a load of effort on my part to become good enough to go pro, but I am willing to take that challenge. Because a life as a surfer is a unique and holds a new exilerating experience evreyday. That is definantly something I would want to try, and master.
how to feel
"its better to give then it is to receive"
this saying is true in many ways, but i also believe it is somewhat misleading. If you give amazing gifts to other people, gifts that you put hours of effort into, and in return, you get some not so hot gifts, it doesnt feel good. you wish that your gift giver would have put more effort into his or her gift. I believe that this feeling is felt often, and isnt so awful to feel. everyone wants to feeel excited on christmas, and when you arent necisarilly wowed, it doest feel good. but you just have to tell myself, its the thought that counts. which i believe is comletely true. so in sense, it is okay to be disipointed and want fmore for christmas, because its humans' nature to want. but just remember to remember that it s the thought that counts.
